On the League’s website, Chris Luffingham boasts of leading the Green Party’s “most successful general election” as National Campaigns Director. In reality, the 2015 campaign was a disaster — fuelled in no small part by his own mismanagement. He was so unpopular, the Bristol West Greens banned him from setting foot in their constituency.

The Sunday Times exposed how the Greens ignored sexual misconduct claims against deputy leader Will Duckworth. As National Campaigns Director during the 2015 election, Luffingham had the power to block Duckworth’s candidacy — and didn’t. The fallout badly tarnished the party’s reputation.

Chris Luffingham is under fire again — this time for a video praising the League’s “flexible” work culture.
His remarks jar with the accountability expected in both business and charity sectors. For a group funded entirely by donations, Luffingham’s casual attitude has reignited concerns about how seriously the League takes its duty to protect wildlife — and its donors’ money.
Labour in particular have allowed senior members of the local party to lie, slander, make fun of ordinary voters, make false accusations against others and engage in a whole campaign of misinformation.
